The verse that hit me like a sledge hammer one day, and led me to ordination was John 15:16. ‘You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.’
Born into a Military family, my early years spent growing up in India. I am drawn to a contemplatative way of life, love being the ‘key’ to my ministry – leading me to become involved in many unexpected adventures! For instance 12 years in Prison Ministry with International links. Since coming to faith, I believe my role has always been to enable people to desire God, discovering for themselves his love for them and for the world, and to recognise their value in his eyes and their giftedness.
I appreciate the Benefice’ openness in embracing different traditions of worship. This generosity gives God the freedom to engage with people in a place which has meaning for them. The deep power of Holy Communion is where I feel closest to Our Lord.
